Dr. Mello is a nephrologist who provides care across the full spectrum of kidney disease, from early kidney conditions to advanced and complex disorders. His clinical interests include chronic kidney disease, end-stage kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and cardiorenal disease.
He takes a thoughtful, patient-focused approach to care, helping patients understand their condition and next steps while supporting long-term health goals. Dr. Mello has been part of Kidney Specialists of Minnesota since 2022.
Originally from Casper, Wyoming, Dr. Mello lives with his wife, three sons, and their dog and cat. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, staying active, and spending time on whatever his kids are most excited about.
