Dr. Leither is a nephrologist who provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of kidney disease, from early-stage conditions to advanced kidney failure. His clinical interests include chronic kidney disease, hypertension, diet and kidney health, kidney stone prevention, kidney transplantation, and dialysis across multiple modalities, including in-center hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and home hemodialysis.
He believes that good care starts with listening and values shared goals and shared decision-making as a foundation for trust and effective patient care. Dr. Leither has been part of Kidney Specialists of Minnesota since 2017.
Originally from St. Cloud, Minnesota, Dr. Leither now lives in Minneapolis with his wife and their two daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and “up north,” being outdoors, racket and paddle sports, traveling, and listening to podcasts.
