Dr. Visaya is a nephrologist who provides care across the full spectrum of kidney disease. His clinical focus includes chronic kidney disease and the management of all forms of dialysis.
He values long-term relationships with patients and takes time to understand their preferences and goals, working collaboratively to develop care plans that are comprehensive, detailed, and grounded in medical science. Dr. Visaya has been part of Kidney Specialists of Minnesota since 1999.
Originally from Vallejo, California, Dr. Visaya lives in St. Louis Park with his wife and daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys watching sports, especially football and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Dr. Visaya also serves in several leadership and advisory roles, including on the Medical Advisory Boards for Fresenius Medical Care and the National Kidney Foundation of Minnesota, the Evergreen Nephrology Leadership Council, and the Minnesota Vascular Surgery Center Board of Directors. He has received multiple Top Doctor honors from Minnesota Monthly and Minneapolis–St. Paul Magazine.
