Kate Hellie, M.D.

Kate Hellie graduated with a B.A. in Chemistry from St. Olaf College and obtained her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and her fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Hellie grew up in rural, southwestern Minnesota. She lived, worked, and studied in California, Nebraska, and Arizona prior to returning to Minnesota for residency. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, travel, cooking, and playing music. Her academic interests include social determinants of health in relation to CKD.
